11.30am - 1.00pm
Wednesday 16 March
Hanham Library
Following the success of our sessions in 2015 in Yate and Staple Hill Libraries, Liz Clarke & Company are excited to share with you the latest developments in the third venue of our South Gloucestershire Libraries tour.
Imaginative, Personal, Carefree, Revealing, Interesting, Truthful: Some of the reflections of our sessions together making this work in progress....
This year, we're using performance to explore, navigate and share the experience of using the library as site and finding our place within it. We'd love you to join us for a celebration of the RE:MAPPING project and a sharing of this season's work. There will be short performance moments for you to explore, a chance to meet the artists and participants and of course, cake.
We'll be creating a performance at the end of this year and we'd we'd love to share its very beginnings with you so please do come along. Expect the Unexpected.... Amongst the Books!
No need to RSVP; we hope to see you there.
Best wishes
Liz & Donna

"I'm so pleased that the sessions are on because I come to the library every day and usually on a Wednesday it's closed and I'm quite upset because I have nothing to do."
"I've known [him] for a long time and he's said more today than I've ever heard him say."
"These sessions really push me out of my comfort zone. I was in a bad mood this morning but pushing myself in this group is good for me. I am trying things I wouldn't normally do."
"I love that there is so much laughter. I loved holding hands and finding out about people".
